59 stories

75665 words
(10000+ words of drawerfic)

25 pairings
8 gen stories

8 G-rated stories
9 PG-rated stories
10 PG-13 stories
9 R-rated stories
23 NC-17 stories

My favourite story this year (of my own): I really like It's Different When They're Your Own. I also, obviously, love the ten thousand words of ridiculous RPF drawerfic I wrote this year (or else I wouldn't have written it).

My best story this year: really good mistakes. It's one of the best things I've ever written.

Most successful fic: Probably and if you don't expect too much from me. It's hard to judge against previous years, because the volume of comments in the SGA fandom has probably halved in the last year. tonight I'm a hurricane also got recced up and down.

Story most tragically underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: and if you don't expect too much from me, if "tragically underappreciated by the universe" meant "made me want to scream that everyone was interrogating the text from the wrong perspective." The point of that story is not that Keller is a bad person. The point of that story is that John is depressed and Rodney is an asshole.

Most fun story: I really like White Elephant and gonna do it on purpose. Those were probably the most fun to write.

Most sexy story: tonight I'm a hurricane. Unf.

Story with single sexiest moment: they would not like the way we live, for this moment:

“What are you going to do to me?” she panted.

Eames laughed, his breath hot and wet on her ear. “If you haven’t figured it out yet, sweetheart, then we’re not going to tell you.”

“Hold her down,” Arthur said, reaching up to loosen his tie.

What? Competence kink? Who told you that?

Most unintentionally *telling* story: Ahahahaha, Disobedient. But really, it's intentionally telling.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: The Perils of Plumbing made me think about Dayna and Tarrant in a way I hadn't really before- mostly because I hadn't thought much about their relationship.

Hardest story to write: One Step Back. I had to write it while I was in no shape to write, and it was like pulling teeth.

Worst story: I'm torn between One Step Back and why twice you ran away. They're similar in that they were stories that I just had to get out; but where One Step Back is a well-executed bad story, why twice you ran away is a badly-executed good story. IDK.

Easiest story to write: Gloss. It sprang fully formed into my brain and came right out of it.

Story I’d like to revise: Probablly why twice you ran away. I could do better with that given the chance.

Story I didn’t write but will at some point, I swear: Okay, look. I literally have HUNDREDS of WIPs. First on the docket, though, are several stories, including lots of John/Rodney AU and Caldwell/Weir.

Final thoughts: Under the circumstances, I think I made a pretty good showing. I wrote half the words of last year, but last year was ridiculous in terms of productivity. I'm pretty proud of a lot of the stuff I did, though. Excelsior!
